Listed on the Singapore Exchange in 2006, Metax Engineering Corporation Limited ("Metax Engineering") is an environmental engineering company that provides engineering, procurement and construction ("EPC") services for water and wastewater treatment and hydro-engineering projects.

Incorporated in Singapore in 1975, we have over 30 years of experience in providing EPC services for water and wastewater treatment projects as well as hydro-engineering projects. We started our expansion into the Asia Pacific region in 1985. Today, our principal market is in South Asia and our projects come from both public and private sector.

Metax Engineering was awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certification since 2001 as a testimony of our ability to deliver quality services and products. We also attained ME11 L6 and SY08 grading by the Singapore Building and Construction Authority which allows us to tender for Singapore government contracts of unlimited value.

With the successful acquisition of WS Bioengineering Pte Ltd ("WS Bio") in 2008, we extended our EPC arm into the palm oil refining industry. WS Bioengineering is a Singapore-incorporated company whose principal business is in the engineering and construction of palm oil processing and refining facilities. This includes biofuel and other downstream refining facilities. This allows us to gain a foothold into the palm oil refining EPC industry where profit margins are expected to be higher as compared to the water division. WS Bio also owns a majority controlling stake in Oiltek Sdn Bhd.
